This day in area sports history: Feb. 4

1936: Kirtland’s Eric Davidson and Wickliffe’s Vic June share the lead in high scoring honors for Lake County Class B schools, each netting 45 points for the season, with Wickliffe’s John Lichniak sitting at 44.
