This day in area sports history: Feb. 15

1970: The Mentor boys swimming team shares Port Clinton Relays team title honors with Warren Western Reserve, getting first-place finishes from its 300-yard medley and the quartet of Steve Galbos, Rick Pluth, Charles Armstrong and Curt Harvey in the 400 free relay.
